Taifa Stars kuzivaa Botswana na Lesotho

TIMU ya soka ya Taifa ya Tanzania (Taifa Stars) inatarajia kucheza mechi mbili za kirafiki za kimataifa dhidi ya wenyeji Botswana na Lesotho kwa ajili ya kujiandaa kuivaa Msumbiji (Mambas) imeelezwa jana jijini Dar es Salaam.

Katibu Mkuu wa Shirikisho la Soka Tanzania (TFF), Selestine Mwesigwa, alisema kuwa tayari vyama vya soka vya nchi hizo mbili vimethibitisha kuwepo kwa michezo hiyo itakayofanyika jijini Gaborone.
Mwesigwa alisema kuwa Taifa Stars itaanza kuwakabili wenyeji Julai Mosi mwaka huu na baadaye Julai 5 itashuka kucheza mechi ya pili kwa kuivaa timu ya Taifa ya Lesotho.

Katibu huyo wa zamani wa Yanga alisema kuwa maandalizi ya safari yamekamilika na kikosi cha Stars kinatarajia kuondoka nchini leo saa 12:00 asubuhi kuelekea Gaborone.
Alisema kwamba nyota wote 26 waliotajwa wataondoka na wanaamini kambi hiyo itasaidia kukiimarisha kikosi hicho kinachohitaji ushindi ili kiweze kuingia hatua ya makundi.

Aliwataja wachezaji watakaosafiri leo wakiwa chini ya Mholanzi, Mart Nooij, ni pamoja na Deogratias Munishi ‘Dida’, Aishi Manula, Benedictor Tinoko, Kelvin Yondani, Said Moradi, Nadir Haroub ‘Cannavaro’, Joram Nason, Shomari Kapombe, Oscar Joshua, Edward Charles, Aggrey Morris na Pato Ngonyani.

Wachezaji wengine ni Frank Domayo, Amri Kiemba, Erasto Nyoni, Jonas Mkude, Said Juma, Haroun Chanongo, Himid Mao, John Bocco, Simon Msuva, Kelvin Friday, Ramadhan Singano ‘Messi’, Khamis Mcha, Mrisho Ngasa na Mwegane Yeya.

Mechi ya kwanza kati ya Taifa Stars dhidi ya Mambas itakuwa kati ya Julai 19 na 20 na marudiano yatafanyika mjini Maputo baada ya wiki mbili.
Stars ilifanikiwa kusonga mbele katika mashindano hayo ya kusaka tiketi ya kucheza fainali za mwakani za Kombe la Mataifa ya Afrika baada ya kuifunga Zimbabwe jumla ya magoli 3-2
