Sunzu sent off as Simba won..

Simba`s newest goal scoring sensation Zambian Felix Sunzu was sent off for slapping a JKT Oljoro player as the chaos-marred premiership match came to and at the Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha yesterday.

Nevertheless Simba posted a handsome 2-0 goal victory with Emmanuel Okwi on target barely three minutes after the kicks off.

Simba’s Rwanda midfielder Patrick Mafisango increased the tally ten minutes later to pile up misery on the premiership new arrivals at their base in Arusha.

The match attended by a mammoth crowd divided the stadium in two sections as fans cheered the host and the visitors throughout.

JKT Oljoro played well but it was inexperience that cost the dearly as Simba tightened grip to defend the early two goals cushion.

The host side’s player Omar Juma was sent off with seven minutes to the end of the regulation time, Juma was allegedly the source of the post-match chaos that spoiled the stadium’s atmosphere with police standing well to control the brawl.

While Simba travel to Tanga for their next round match against hosts Coastal Union at the Mkwakwani Stadium on Wednesday, JKT Oljoro host Mtibwa Sugar at their base in Arusha.

Other matches played during the weekend saw Azam FC post a slim lone goal win over Moro United at their Chamazi Stadium, Toto Africa floored Villa Squad by 3-0, Coastal Union and Mtibwa Sugar were locked at 1-1.

Police Dodoma and African Lyon ended in barren draw, Kagera Sugar were held to a 1-1 draw by Ruvu Shooting at Kaitaba Stadium.
