NMB Management wishes to inform the public that it has come to our attention that a body identifying itself as Tanzania Loans Society is claiming to be affiliated with NMB and has issued a statement on its website http://www.tanzanialoans.wapka.mobi/ , claiming to issue loans financed by NMB through NMB Branch Managers.
Moreover, the Tanzania Loan Society has also indicated that the loan application forms and registration fee proceeds can be remitted through a mobile phone number.
NMB Management wishes to inform our customers and the general public that we do not have any business affiliation with this society. NMB only issues loans through branches and under no circumstances are application fees or loans remitted through mobile phones.
Customers and the general public are hereby cautioned not to engage with this society on any transaction involving NMB Plc and the bank shall not be held responsible for any transaction or agreement transacted with the Tanzania Loans Society.
