PSV on course for Dutch title
PSV Eindhoven maintained their march towards a third successive Dutch Eredivisie crown with a 3-0 home win over FC Groningen on Saturday.Danny Koevermans struck a goal in each half with Otman Bakkal adding a strike in between to secure another victory for Sef Vergoosen’s side, and keep them seven points ahead of Ajax, who have a game in hand.
Roda JC’s midweek cup exertions apparently took their toll as a second-half collapse allowed hosts Heerenveen to stage a comeback from a two-goal deficit to net a 4-3 win.
Roland Lamah opened the scoring after 24 minutes before Yulu Matondo doubled Roda’s advantage three minutes later as they initially looked untroubled by playing their third game in six days.
